After months of turmoil and indecision, Chevron has decided to move us to Caracas, Venezuela. Somehow our two year Australian adventure backfired! Considering the fact that we were emotionally prepared to accept positions in Nigeria, Thailand, and Indonesia, and as firm believers that everything works out for a reason, we are thrilled beyond belief. This photo was taken of us the night of Stephannie's Rehearsal Dinner in October.
This is the first blog I have ever done. I hope to keep everyone posted on our progress and keep you all in the loop.
We just found out that they want Chris "on the ground and running" by May 1. Wow. He gets done with school at the end of April, so my fantasy of having my husband back for a while will have to be put on hold for a while until I move out ther with the kids this summer. I am going to work until May 26th, then resign. Katherine will be at Camp Mystic (http://www.campmystic.com/) for all of June, and Madeline and I will be hanging out and having fun getting ready to move. We plan on heading down to Caracas in July to move into our new home. We will keep you posted as plans develop.
